Formed in 1990, this Scottish band is the perfect new
music sound for baby boomers and Gen Xers's alike. It's a blast
from the past with a refreshing modern emphasis, simple yet passionate.
Though we can't find any indications of such, a subtle tone of
spirituality threads throughout the entire CD; it's the kind of music
your children will enjoy and you'll feel good about sharing with them.
Upbeat, reflective and a pure pleasure to listen to, there is not a bum
song in this entire collection.
We especially like the fact that it reminds us of the
unfettered tone of early 90's music and then surprises you with a
beatnik poetry atmosphere, (you'll be expecting Bob Dylan to join in any
second) during the next song, only to transport you to the days of
Beattle mania pop in the next. Textured, wholesome, modern and
diverse, these are just some of the reasons Travis' The Invisible Band
makes our pick for the perfect Couples Music. You'll love this CD if you enjoy: Bob Dylan, The Goo
