Being in Love: A state of mind that affords special care by both partners by Lorne Caplan

I had the pleasure today, or returning home to a loving wife. She is rarely able to cook or prepare supper during the school year. Her career requires her to be engaged with her children as well as her after-school activities. She cleans, manages the finances and all of her children's needs. The term super-mom is an understatement.

During the school year, I often do the cooking, especially on the weekends when our children (combined they are five girls) have numerous friends sleep over. It's a house full of teenage hormones and the fun never ends. However, during the summer, my lady goes out of her way to take care of her man. Sure, it's a little old fashioned and objectionable to some women who may feel it is far too traditional. Yet, when you are in love, both partners want to do everything they can for their partner.

Having a little bit of selection and changing-up your routine is often a great way to revive a relationship. The hot summer months are an ideal time to try something new, or bring back something that you once did and have perhaps forgotten about during the intense year that most people are involved in because of work, the kids, family or some other obligation.
