Do you have coffee, filters, cream (or milk) and sugar?

Substitute individual coffee “tea” bags if you don’t usually drink coffee.

Tea: If you don't have it, pick up  boxes of Constant Comment and Chamomile Teas to keep on hand. 

Tip: If she's a devote Mormon, she doesn't drink coffee, caffeinated tea, alcohol or caffeinated soda so keep hot chocolate on hand, juice and bottled water. If she's a practicing Methodist or Muslim, she does not drink alcohol at all.

Dishes clean or stacked in the dishwasher?

Wine glasses clean? Do you have enough clean  silverware?

Counters wiped down and sink cleaned out?

Is the dishtowel clean (if it smells like sour milk, it's not) and are paper towels available?
 

Does it look like it has been cleaned recently?  If not, mop.

Is the garbage empty?
 

Do you have 'Girl Food'?
Fresh fruit (bananas and grapes are always good), Non-fat or 1% milk, Diet Soda, wine or light beer, bagels and cream cheese, Non-fat yogurt, juice and bottled water.  Have something "light" to offer her on hand.

Tip: Also have a box of LU Little Schoolboy Dark Chocolate Cookies, just in case she has a sweet tooth.  These are very rich, chocolaty and not too high in calories.

Does your fridge smell okay? Have you removed all of the "science projects" and unidentified culinary masses?

Is the door handle clean?

Do you have Baking Soda? 
If you spill red wine on your date or she on herself, warm water and baking soda in the sink will lift the stain right out within 30-seconds on most fabrics.  Baking soda doubles as an antacid. The same formulation for antacid when drunk with 20-minutes of eating garlic, is how you kill garlic-breath.

Mylanta or another liquid Antacid, (we prefer Mylanta). Over the counter pill forms don't usually work too well for nervous indigestion. Many women over 30 have problems with heartburn, especially when they are nervous.

Advil or another multi-symptom pain reliever for cramps and headaches.  Advil seems to be the reigning favorite.

Benadryl: works both as an antihistamine and sleeping aid.  Essential if she has allergies (2 pills) or trouble sleeping in a new place (3-4 pills).  Hormones also play havoc with a woman's ability to sleep and temporary insomnia is an agonizing symptom of PMS for many women.

KY Liquid.   If she's over 35 or going through menopause, this may be required

Baby oil.   Baby oil is considered the #1 aphrodisiac scent to women and it makes a great massage oil. TOP
 

Is it clean? No hair in the drain, old razors, empty bottles, bath tub ring, soap scum, spiders, webs or mold?  Pour bleach on mold to kill it.

Is there a bar of soap or liquid soap?

Women use conditioner and shampoo. 
Do you have both? 
Hint: Herbal Essence works well for most hair types. Pert 2 in 1 is okay for occasional use it strips your hair if used everyday.

Do you have ( 2 ) clean towels for her to use, one for her hair and one for her body?  And a washcloth or shower fluffy thing?
 

Is there a fresh roll of double-ply toilet paper in the dispenser?

Is there soap next to the sink?

Have you removed or hidden all of your Adult magazines and pictures?

Is the sink, mirror and toilet clean?

Is there a wastebasket?  Is it empty?

Hint: If you don't have a wastebasket in the bathroom, get one. If she's on her period, she'll need a discreet place to discard the equipment that goes with the territory, otherwise you may be spending $75 on a plumber and dealing with the embarrassment when he pulls the equipment out of your pipes.

Is there a clean hand towel adjacent to or near the sink?
 

Is the floor clean, including the wallboards, and  behind and next to the toilet (you are men after all)?

Do you have a bath rug in front of the shower?  If not, get one. A towel is not an acceptable substitute and women hate stepping on cold floors with wet feet..
 

Is it picked up?   Clothes put away, vacuumed, dusted.

Does it smell good?
Hint: Glade Candle Scents® do a great job of covering smells and add a romantic touch to any room (women love candles).  Also, Glade Carpet Fresh will kill scents Rover or the cat left the last time they had an accident.

Have you hidden or removed any posters of naked women or other adult materials she may be intimidated by?

Hint: Some women are very offended by any form of pornography and will drop you in a second if they think you enjoy even the most benign forms, so play it safe.  Hide it and find out how she feels about it at a later date.

Are the sheets clean?
Hint: if you can't remember the last time you changed them, they are not.

Do you have a top sheet (flat sheet) and a bottom sheet (fitted sheet) on the bed?

Is the bed made?

Do you have an extra blanket?
Hint: Either fold this over the end of the bed or place it folded on the ground next to the bed on the side she'll sleep.   Women tend to get cold easily...we can't help it.  It is a biological fact and has more to do with how we're made then how irritating it can be to you.

Another tip, women like to hug throw pillows, especially when they are nervous.   Toss a couple on the bed; you can also use these later to enhance certain sexual positions.

Do you have some close to the bed but out of view?
Hint:  Slip a couple between the mattress and box spring for easy reach without having to break the rhythm or the moment.

Are they still good (check the expiration date).

Are all the wrappers from past used condoms thrown away and taken all the way to the outdoor garbage? This is another reason to make sure all garbage cans in the house have been emptied before she comes over! TOP
