make a first impression". Well, it is not entirely
true when it comes to dating and love. As a man,
you have several opportunities to make a first
impression and each is a tenuous step in the pursuit

littered about inside, your chances of ever getting a second
date are almost zero. The final major test comes the first time she enters your home.
This is a
major first impression opportunity and don't under estimate its
power.
Your home is where she will be able to read a thousand little clues about who you are,
what is important to you, where your values lie and how important security and comfort are
to you. Remember, and this is extremely important, for most women.
The mate they
choose will enhance their lives, not take them down a notch or two in lifestyle and
comfort. So what does your pad say to her? Does it tell her that by being with
you her life will be enhanced, safe and secure? Or does it tell her she'll be
spending all her free time as a live in maid two checks away from a trailer part?
We asked one hundred women
what they thought about the situations described. Below are some of the common perceptions
and beliefs women derive from the state and things they see in your apartment or home.
Most are forgiving to college students and the early twenties
crowd. Everyone needs time to get off their feet.
However, if you are over twenty-five and looking for a lifelong mate, or just a good lusty
fling, this information can help you avoid some of the situations that end a relationship
before it even gets an opportunity to get off the ground.

Other things to watch? You're an adult
now and your living quarters need to reflect this.
She's looking for someone to enhance her life and protect
her. She's wanting someone more mature than she who
can guide her through life. Decorations cool in
college like glow in the dark stars on your bedroom
ceiling, neon beer signs on the wall (unless you have a
game room or bar in your home), and unframed posters
scream immature. If your date is mature, symbols of
college life indicate to her she has entered Never-never
land, and may be stuck with a boy she'll have difficulty
respecting rather than a man she can love and depend on.
