This tip will also allow you to transform
any room inexpensively. All you need is something to tie
with that matches your decor. Hair scrunchies, scarves,
rope or we used 2 feet of wired ribbon from the fabric store.

Viola! |
| How to do this:
Close the verticals 3/4 of the way. Make sure
all of the veins are facing the same direction.
You will want to leave them partially open to allow
some air to pass through. Grab the end veins and pull
all of the veins together toward the center. If
using a scrunchy, slip the hair band around the bottom
of the veins and slide 1/3 of the way up. The
blinds will automatically form the curved bottom you
see to the left. |
|
|
|
If using ribbon, scarves or rope, simply tie the fabric 1/3 of
the way up and top with a bow. Get creative by inserting
silk flowers, tassels or other ornaments into the bow.
The bow will stay put unless very windy. Use scotch tape
on the back if you have problems with the bow slipping. |
