I believe the children saw a part of society that exists whether Ms. Lewis wants it to exist or not. Is Ms. Lewis telling us that the children who witnessed the skits are irretrievably lost? Parents who are strong enough to bring a lawsuit are probably strong enough to set their children straight. No pun intended. There must be more to this than we are told by Ms. Lewis. School administrators would not purposely bring this type of criticism upon themselves by not allowing a few children to opt out.
