I am deeply offended by
the slanderous opinions your site publishes. Your authors are trying
to twist definitions (such as anti-Semitic), try to twist the facts
( such as time - line of events in Palestine, according to which
army seems to stage random attacks on Palestinians, whereas in
reality each attack is either provoked, and yes provoked sometimes
by PPL in civilian cloth, or is a response on anti-terrorist
intelligence, and yes terrorists do wear civilian cloths too). The
rampant hatred and anti-Israeli, even anti-Semitic bias of the
opinions on your site is too obvious to make your opinions seems
anything better than hateful propaganda and misinformation. Good
luck with that.

CC NOTE: AZ
refers to Israeli Intelligence (Mossad / Shin Bet), though no
mention of its false flag operation, (under the guise of Al Qaeda
operatives) uncovered in The Philippines this past week or the multitude
of false flag operations it has been caught in over the past 5-decades
masquerading as Arabs, (beginning with former Prime Minister Begin's
Israeli Irgun terrorists dressed as Arabs in the bombing of the King David
Hotel in the 1940's) Canadians, Americans or other nationalities.
Of course the CIA and other intelligence agencies also do the same thing.
"By way of deception, we shall wage war" is not exclusive to Israeli
Intelligence, though it is their motto. For additional articles on Mossad (Israeli Intelligence) caught posing as Al Qaeda terrorists see:
June 15, 2004 the following scandal began unfolding in Israel. Head of AMAN

Yehudith Harel rightly condemns Israeli Left who was equally willing to
embrace the AMAN's Black Legend. Full

Response:
We're
sorry if you're deeply offended by truth, but that does not change it.
Technically, since it is written, the proper term would be libel,
not slander. Slander is spoken. Libel is written. It's easy to
remember if you realize libro is book in Spanish, ergo 'Libel' is read.
Also it is only libel if not backed by facts and instituted with
malice for the purpose of discrediting, defaming or misguiding on
false pretense. Every statement in the article written by us
is backed by quantifiably, verifiable, historical and/or proven
facts with no malice intended. Because of this, it cannot be libel,
propaganda or hateful. You simply disagree with the article based
upon your body of knowledge and the experience you've acquired.
There is nothing wrong with that, this is a heavily complicated and
propagandized issue and you've given us the opportunity to
clarify and hopefully ease some of your concerns.
To begin with the
word anti-Semitic was invented in 1882 for Theodor Herzl's first
meeting on Zionism. Spend some time reading his essay's including
"The Jewish State" and you'll understand more about this. He wanted a word to encapsulate the
pogroms, elevate racism directed at those of the Jewish faith to a higher,
more prestigious level and jointly vilify anyone objecting to his
mission. Obviously this strategy has worked. From the beginning, the
Zionist objective included the removal of indigent persons on the
land later chosen for Israel via complete ethnic cleansing.
"Spirit the penniless population
across the frontier by denying it employment... Both the process
of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out
discreetly and circumspectly."
Theodore Herzl,
founder of the World Zionist Organization,
speaking of the Arabs
of Palestine, Complete Diaries, June 12, 1895
entry.
Both Webster and Random House have
come under fire for purposely misleading through propaganda the true
meaning of this word by placing definitions for anti-Semitic with Jewish
faith when it clearly states under the definition of Semitic, that Semitic is a
person of Arabic origins who speaks one of the
6 Semitic languages, of which
ancient Hebrew, not modern Hebrew is one. During the twentieth
century, both publishers added second notations under Semitic to
include persons of the Jewish faith, but this is not historically
accurate. It is blatant propaganda. Semitism denotes those of Arabic
origin who are speakers of a language group, period, not a faith.
Arabs of Jewish, Muslim and Christian faiths are Semitic people;
anyone who persecutes Arabs of any faith is engaging in
anti-Semitism. Making it exclusively Jewish is propaganda born out
of the Zionist movement. This is a classic propaganda
technique: accuse your opponents of doing what you are doing to
deflect criticism, making them guilty of the crime you are
committing. It's hilarious if you think about it. The world's most
avid anti-Semites, the Israeli Government and its supporters accuse
everyone else of anti-Semitism for objecting to their anti-Semitism.
You really do have to admit it is ludicrous, genius, but ludicrous.
We're not playing that game.
As an American, we're sure you'll agree, racism is racism whether it is directed at persons practicing
Judaism, Christianity or because of their origin or color of their
skin. If you want to call us anti-Semitic for opposing racism
and the ethnic cleansing of Semites, so be it. With Joseph Mandela,
Mel Gibson, Former President Jimmy Carter and The Pope, we'd say
we're in good company.
Secondly, Israel
has
maintained military superiority over all Arab states from the
beginning. Again, this is quantifiable and verifiable fact. In
1948 the combined forces of all Arab nations equaled 21,000.
Israel's forces numbered over 60,000...that is a 3:1 ratio with
military might in arms, tanks and training far superior to the Arab
nations, most of these arms from the Post WWII Soviet Union.
Israel was never in danger of being overthrown, also a quantifiable
and verifiable fact. Israeli historian Benny Morris admitted
this in Ha'aretz daily this past January and it is confirmed by
historian Ilan Pappe and numerous articles by Noam Chomsky, David
Hirsh, Israel Shamir, and other noted journalists and authors,
Israeli or Jewish.
Sharon continues the founders of Israel's campaign of ethnic
cleansing since his early days in the Israeli Military beginning in
the 1950's. 800,000 Arabs were forced off their land during those
first years, many slaughtered and the genocide continues today. In
1967, as confirmed by the Israeli military:
"The thesis that the danger of
genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that
Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff,
which was born and developed after the war."
Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha'aretz, 19
March 1972.
Israel under no threat from its neighbors invaded several countries
including Jordan, Syria and Egypt. They also
found time to
murder 34 American sailors and wound another 171 during this
time. In just six days Israel defeated
all of those armies! Even Hitler required 6-weeks to conquer
Poland. It took us 100 days to free Kuwait. Six days to conquer several nations!
Never in the history of the world has an invasion and conquest been
so complete in such a short period of time. Does this strike
you as a helpless, oppressed nation, an underdog?
With the 4th largest military in the world and over 600 weapons of mass destruction
(it
publicly has threatened to use on its neighbors), do you really
believe the "security" and "self-defense" arguments? Seems tanks, F-16's, nuclear weapons and
bulldozers aren't enough to protect superpower Israel from rocks
and homemade bombs. You've probably never noticed, the Palestinians
have no army, no tanks, no missiles, no jets, no helicopters...no
military period. The Fourth largest military and major nuclear power
needs protection from militia made up of starving men and teenage
boys throwing rocks, using the occasional smuggled gun and a few
homemade bombs per year. In the entire history of Israel fewer
than 140 suicide bombs have been detonated, (the IDF shows a little
over 100 since 1987 but we've seen other reports as high as 150 so
we are estimating on the high side) and the first suicide
terrorist was an Israeli in 1994; he killed 29 and wounded 300
at prayer. And this man is a national hero in Israel! We
hope that celebrating a mass murderer for killing of men and
children at prayer in a mosque, disgusts you as much as it does us.
This past January, another Israeli suicide bomber took out a city
block in Palestine kamikaze style, killing 12. Of course the
US media doesn't report those. We had to read about the Israeli
kamikaze
in Ha'aretz.
As for
Terrorists.
Israel claims 327 (of 3,544 kills,
our 91% civilian number) assassinations of suspected terrorists, and
all the rest of the thousands are bystanders. None of those
assassinated, including Sheik Yassin, were tried and convicted of
anything. When police or the military act as judge and jury, this is the definition of a Police State and a primary component of a fascist country. Each "terrorist" is simply proclaimed to be terrorists and killed.
What is Israel afraid of in following proper law by arresting and
giving the accused a day in court? Three-hundred and
twenty-seven people in 17 years, the Israeli jails and legal system
can easily handle this. If these people are terrorists, Israel
should not be afraid to try them because their trials, if they are
in fact terrorists, would show Israel justified in its actions.
One has to wonder why they do not want the trials. The cost of one
missile is greater than a trial and a lifetime in jail for up to 10,
so economics isn't the reason. At last count, (May 2004) based
on Israeli official sources, less than 90 Israelis under the age of
18 have been killed from all military acts, including “suicide
bombs” in the entire 17 years since the first Intifada. This count
is taken from public available reports of all “suicide bombings”
from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the propaganda arm of
its military and the Israeli Defense Forces. The former lists those
killed by age and rank. What
democracy on this planet allows its military to play judge, jury and
executioner? Democracies and Republics do not do this.
Fascist countries, Dictatorships, Tyranny and Anarchists do.

Btselem, an Israeli
human rights organization, reports the total death count to be about
3,544 Palestinians killed, compared to 532 Israelis since the first
Intifada began in 1987. The Israelis dead are almost half military
according to the Btselem, and according to Israeli Military sources
are about 30% military (the government counts reservists as
civilians). Approximate eight Palestinians have been killed for
every one Israeli, including active military since 1987. Child
killing is even more unbalanced. One Israeli child has been
reported killed for about every 20 Palestinian children killed by
the Israeli soldiers and air force. Wounded and maimed even are
more lopsided, a few thousand Israelis in 17 years compared with
tens of thousands of Palestinians.

For over 1,000 years Jews, Christians and Muslims shared the land in
relative peace. This is a fact. The myth that Arabs are the eternal enemies of the Jews comes from the 1967 footnote in the Scofield Study Bible added specifically to justify the 6-day war. This is not based in fact. It is propaganda. This is the primary religious source of Evangelical and Fundamental Christian Zionists which is why they state the conflict is "in the Bible". It is in the Scofield, which is propaganda and was created to bolster the Dispensationalist movement and secure Christian support for Israel. It is not
in the original Greek texts of the Bible, nor is this considered part of the Christian faith. The Israel of the Bible is not a country, but the church, those whom follow the one God. The land is referred to as Palestine.
To learn more about the Schofield Study Bible and Dispensationalism, these tapes have proven very informative: Understanding the Error of Dispensationalism PT 1 & 2, Scofield's Bible: Theft of a Faith, and The Final Apostasy, all by religious and historical scholar, former dispensationalist Dr. Gordon Ginn, available at We
Hold These Truths. All tapes in English and are 1-hour in length.
The only reason Israel suffers from attacks is because
of Israel's actions and the US support of these actions. This is
also a fact. And what about the God excuse used by Israel and our
own President Bush? Do you honestly believe God would require
breaking his commandments, the laws he set forth to Moses, in order to
fulfill his wishes? Jewish, Christian or Muslim, we all follow
the same Ten. Why would He require their destruction to honor
Him? Can you see the flawed logic here? Israel's motivation is
greed of land brought about by manufactured entitlement and elitism
bolstered by cultivated paranoia and fear, hardly a just or righteous cause.
The Torah specifically forbids the creation of Israel by man, which
is why tens of thousands of Jews have marched in New York and
Washington this past year against US financial and military support
of Israel and against its reference as "The Jewish State". Its
creation is against their religion and they consider the treatment
of the Palestinians to be immoral. Even former Israeli Prime
Minister Shimon Peres came out this past year and stated such, that
"Israel has lost its international legitimacy, and most important
its moral position". He then advocated a complete withdrawal
from all Palestinian territory, and if this did not happen soon,
"catastrophe is waiting around the corner". We're not saying
anything the Israelis have not said themselves.
The Arabs' motivation is self-preservation, the
moral high ground and the moral high ground ultimately wins. Greed
is not a virtue. Elitism is not a virtue. Entitlement is not a
virtue.
Defending one's family and life is.
Israel can never win with its present motivations; rather it will
destroy itself with arrogance and possibly the United States with
it, unless it faces what it is doing and attempts to work
with its neighbors rather than annihilate them. Israel is a
nuclear power and its leaders have repeatedly stated publicly over
several administrations they do not consider Arabs human. That is a
deadly combination. Do you want
annihilation? We don't. We're doing something about it. What
are you doing about it?
Fortunately many in Israel are doing something about it, and we
support them 100%. These
people are the hope and we've spoken with numerous Israeli students,
soldiers and citizens who want this to end. The truth is dark, dirty and disgusting but
every day people use rationalizations to excuse it or ignore it,
more Israelis and more Palestinians die. The truth eliminates
the need for these deaths, if only people have the courage to get
past the propaganda and the indiscriminate accusations of
anti-Semitism by those ignorant to reality use to mask it.
And finally, you accuse us of being
anti-Israel, which since we're Americans is irrelevant. No where in
the US Constitution does it say we must be loyal, pledge solidarity
or support a foreign government, in fact doing so usually
constitutes treason. Our issues with Israel embody how it chooses to
exist. So let's clarify what we are anti. We are anti-apartheid, anti-genocide,
anti-racism, anti-terror...policies Israel and the United States
engage, promote and underwrite. We are against lying, denying
culpability and accountability in actions including the
USS Liberty
and
Rachel Corrie. We are against the
killing of people because of their faith. We are against the
destruction of the Christian and Muslim holy sites Sharon's
government is pursuing with a vengeance We are against
collective punishment and ethnic cleansing. We are against elitism,
which says one group of people is more deserving of life than
another. We are against twisting Biblical scripture to create
reasons for immorality by both Christian Zionists and Jewish
Zionists. We are against using Judaism, Christianity and Islam
for self-righteously manufactured religious persecution, and equally
against the use of these faiths as justification for immoral acts.
We are against Talmudic inspired laws that promote and celebrate
victimization, censorship (HR3077 & HR4230)
litigious actions and the loss of personal accountability. To be
pro-Israel as it currently exists requires supporting and condoning
these actions, policies and ideas. We won't do that so we'd like to
ask you this.
What causes you to call us anti-Semitic for opposing these policies
and how would you suggest we protest them in a manner you would not
consider anti-Semitic? Our objections would be the same if
England, Japan or Brazil were engaging these policies as Israel,
with the US's blessing and money is today. To promote these policies
by ignoring them or rationalizing them is not the way Americans do
things. It is also morally wrong. To allow Israeli and US propaganda
to continue unchallenged is unconscionable. After the German
Holocaust, the world said never again. As a global community
we did not say never again unless the victimizers are Jewish.
We said never again period. How would you object to genocide, war
crimes and crimes against humanity when those committing it
automatically call all their critics anti-Semitic to hide their
actions? If we must choose, shunning morality or being called
anti-Semitic for doing the right thing, we'll choose to be vilified.
We have the truth on our side.
As
long as Israel and the United States support these policies, we will
continue to protest, write about it and inform people because they
are not in our best interests as a nation, the United States. As long as Israel's
influence on the US Government forces policies not healthy for
America, and as long as its lobbies manipulate our legislators,
professors and media into supporting and promoting laws, policies
and ideas against the US Constitution and the best interests of the
American people, we will continue to inform our readers, even if doing so is
not currently politically correct and causes people to hate us or condemn us
in the interim.
We have serious issues with US tax dollars being used to kill
civilians, with our Presidential and congressional representatives
swearing solidarity to Israel, a foreign country when their job is
to serve only US. We have serious issues with our government making decisions based upon Israeli
needs rather than US interests, and with Israel's continued actions
using our money and blind support to perpetrate massive war
crimes and crimes against humanity directly in violation of the US
Constitution, Rome Statutes, 1907 Hague Regulations and the 4th Geneva Convention.
Israel's actions in the Occupied Territories and the US complicity
in them are immoral. Supporting these policies constitutes a
travesty. Supporting, promoting and funding them is anti-American.
The US Constitution and our principles do not stop at the Israeli
border and our rights are not at the discretion of Israel's desires,
needs or its lobby's pressure. As American citizens and
patriots, we would be remiss in our duties as citizens to allow
these actions without protest by any country or special interest
once we became aware of them. Unfortunately in this case, the
perpetrator is Israel. Believe us, we really wish it were not.
We appreciate your wishes for luck, but luck is only necessary when
propagating a lie.
Since we're operating on truth, we'll trust God, not luck. The
odds are divinely better.

June 15, 2004: AZ did respond, though
chose not to accept our requests for his input. Rather he made broad
generalizations (a tactic people use when they cannot counter and
argument) and reaffirmed his accusations of anti-Semitism against us; defamation
is a way to discredit rather than look at or argue the issues, (generally
because they cannot) so the attempt is made to discredit the messenger
since the message cannot be discredited. Both generalization and
characterization are propaganda tactics.
We're publishing his second response, as is and unedited this time (we cleaned up the
grammatical errors in the first) because it shows how divisive this issue
is and where the problems lie. It also shows why so many in the
media are afraid to tackle this issue head on. The hatred of those
supporting the genocide is so deep, nothing but their rationalization is
worth considering and all persons not supporting their mission are
considered the enemy. This type of angry input is endured by anyone,
whether a President, journalist or common man questioning and confronting
the issue in writing or conversation. This hatred and the concurrent
refusal to discuss the issues is the main barrier to
peace in the Middle East, and surprisingly, at least in our experience, it most often comes from those
of the Christian, (Evangelical), not Jewish or Muslim faiths. This
is the personal forward we sent with the e-mail including the above.
Hello AZ-
I wanted to personally
respond to your feedback as I am the writer of the article and any
concerns or blame should be addressed to me exclusively. Below (in this
case above) is what we've posted on the site. I'm not sure what you
mean by PPL...I am assuming you are referring to the PLO? If you have
any questions regarding the information below, feel free to e-mail me
back. I'll answer them as best I can and provide you with sources as
well. That article (Taking on Racism at the Washington Post) encompasses four years of intensive research, over 40
films, about 50 books, over 100 interviews with people on both sides of
the issue and an untold number of articles.
I should let you know,
my fiancé was born in Israel and much of his family still resides
there. Much of our research and work comes from these connections in
addition to the many friends we currently have living both in Israel and
the Occupied Territories from all three faiths: Christian, Jewish and
Muslim.
I'm also assuming you
are from the United States in the response. Our response is rather long
as I decided to go into detail with figures most people are unaware of
and use your comments as a general springboard. I also ask many
questions in the article and am open to your feedback. I feel we both
have the same objective, the end of terror and the beginning of peace in
the Middle East, but perhaps I'm not approaching it in the best manner?
Your assistance would be appreciated.
Again thank you for
your comments and any concerns you can address to me personally.
Sincerely,
Laura Dawn Lewis

Zionism, Anti-Semitism and the People of Palestine.
Everything the
writer talks about from Balfour and Nazi Germany forward we've read and
documented over the past four years from credible sources including
Israeli papers, a number of Jewish organizations, historians, and
respected international and national press, everything. This is the
best succinct encapsulation we've seen of the Israeli position, the
history and objectives of Zionism and the Palestine issue.
