I haven’t been this excited about
an album since Hootie and the Blowfish released Cracked Rear View!
Fleetwood Mac’s “Say You Will” is on par with their critical and
commercial success, Rumors in the late 1970’s. Lindsey
Buckingham’s influence is evident throughout the entire album with harsh
political statements illustrating the frustration many are feeling today
in songs like, “What’s the World Coming To?” and “Peacemaker”.
He even includes a commentary on the Western Media in “[Edward R]
Murrow Turning in His Grave”. Additional songs of note include
Illume about 9-11 and Miranda, a catchy foot-tapping
song that’s a blast to sing along with. “Say You Will” grows on
you significantly each time you listen to it and it is sure to become
one of your favorite albums! You’ll Love this Album if you Like: U-2’s early
work, REM, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd and Sting.
