Report: AIPAC focus of fresh FBI probe

Sources told Time that the probe has been going on for months. The probe would try to determine whether Harman and AIPAC enlisted wealthy supporters to "lobby" House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi to reappoint Harman.

According to the sources, Israeli businessman Haim Saban is one of the wealthy individuals who lobbied for Pelosi on behalf of Harman. Saban contributed at least USD 3,000 to Harman's election campaign, congressional sources told Time.

CC NOTE: This espionage case was first exposed in August 2004 and because it involves Israel spying against the US, the Mainstream media has been trying to bury it.  That TIME is finally addressing it 26 months later shows the power of The Lobby and the fear the media has of informing Americans about an issue this serious because of the nation involved. That's why you don't know much about it.  It is also why you need to learn about it and you'll notice we cover a lot of issues in this feature dealing with Israel because it is directly related to US policy, the erosion of our Constitutional Rights, 9/11 and the War on Terror. Frankly we'd prefer not to focus so much on one nation's influence but the mainstream is terrified, due to financial repercussions, threats, accusations of racism and blacklisting of staff and editors who dare to address this.  Basically one of the most important and catastrophic issues affecting the life of every American and millions overseas is not covered because most are afraid to touch this issue.  We're not, but we do pay a price for it financially and otherwise.

Irish Tramline forced to cancel Israeli deal

What this article shows is that Americans are not the only ones fighting against Israeli apartheid and practices.  All over the world, people of all faiths including Jewish (many of whom are the most outspoken and determined advocates against Israeli apartheid) are standing up for the rights of all people to live in peace and dignity in the Middle East.  This article illustrates another minor yet significant step toward ending apartheid in the Middle East by eliminating the tools and support for businesses engaged in perpetuating Israeli apartheid. 

WHAT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA ISN'T TELLING YOU: Below the radar a revolution is occurring in the United States.  It began in earnest March 21, 2006 with the release of the Walt/Mearsheimer Paper on the impact of the Israel Lobby in American politics, foreign policy and procedures.  The mainstream media, many of whom are part of the Israel Lobby continue to attempt to ignore this, but it is getting out and it's filling in the 'something is missing in this picture' feeling most people in the US have.  Slander and Libel, (accusations of anti-Semitism being the most common deflection) have been the key tools of repression for anyone pointing out the impact, danger and cross-purposes of America's most powerful special interest lobby.  Attempts to minimize the espionage indictments against two of its leaders, have succeeded with lemmings, those of the Christian Right whom have replaced following Christ with worshiping Real Estate plus end of times apostate theology and logically those dependent upon financing by this lobby, (currently over half the Senate and 70% of Congress)  but not with the masses concerned with America's direction.  Senator Lieberman's attempt to make Israel the subject du-jour with his opponent Lamont shows the extent of this struggle.  Voters in Lieberman's state are suppose to believe that Israel is the primary concern rather than the US Constitution, the rights of Americans and American Interests.  Frankly the affairs of a foreign nation should have no relevance to American voters. If Lieberman is defeated, it will be a substantial blow to the Israel-first contingency in American politics, for this is what Lieberman and many others in our government stand for, protect and promote.  'Is this good for the American people?' is not the question they ask.  They function, evident by the bills they've sponsored, passed and endorsed under the question, "Is this good for Israel?"  In the Knesset this is an appropriate question.  In the US Senate and Congress it is not. The defeat of Lieberman and other Israel-first government representatives using their office to protect a foreign nation at the expense of American interests will show that The Lobby is losing its power over American representatives. This is a very good thing for the American people, the global community and also for Israelis. 

Former President Carter is releasing a new book 'Palestine Peace, Not Apartheid'. This is another blow to The Lobby.  Israel has been an apartheid state since its inception.  Its laws on land ownership and appropriation for Jewish Only residents are well known and have been in place since 1951. (apartheid means segregated).  Currently Christians and Muslims are prohibited from traveling, owning property and even working within 93% of Israel proper.  Many roads, housing developments, schools and other services are Jewish Only.  This is the definition of a segregated society and proves, despite public relation's attempts to deem otherwise, Israel is an apartheid state. 

When you support the nation state of Israel as it currently exists, you support apartheid. 

It is that simple. 

This is why so many organizations are moving to divest from Israel and like the Irish, blocking agreements from fruition.  Not because they are anti-Semitic as The Lobby would like you to believe, (The Palestinians, all Arabic people in fact are Semitic. which means the laws of Israel are anti-Semitic. That is part of the hypocrisy of this: Calling people anti-Semitic for protesting Israeli anti-Semitism).  People move to divest from Israel because they do not believe in supporting racism/faith supremacy and sixty years of oppression against Christians and Muslims by the state of Israel. Supporting such is morally repugnant to most people, including an increasing number of Jewish people. The system promoting this is known as Zionism.  Zionism is not faith based.  It uses faith to shield itself from criticism.  Its followers are predominantly Christian (approximately 150 million of the 2.1 billion Christians world wide with 100 million Christian Zionists in the US. And Jewish, about 8 million of the 13 million Jews worldwide are Zionists of whom about 3 million are in the US). Zionists are a minority, less than 160 million people on a planet of 6 billion, but they are in positions of power in government, the media, finance, entertainment and law and therefore seem more powerful than they are.

That the US Government continues to support, promote and protect Israeli apartheid represents substantial evidence that those within our government are not representing the best interests of the American people and are in fact using the American people for aims not in line with our values, morals or Constitution. This is The Lobby at work. That as Americans we cannot engage in open debate about this without being accused of anti-Semitism is the power that The Lobby holds over our system and how it perpetuates its agenda at our expense.

Israeli hasbara (propaganda) has been attempting to keep this fact out of public discussion because most people in America do not support racism, elitism or segregation for any reason.  When American public opinion turns, which it is, the party is over.  The money stops, the weapons stop and Israel will be forced to return to its borders and make peace with its neighbors.  It will not cease to exist and it will not disappear. Few people, even Hamas and Hezbollah want this.  Propaganda says they do but the facts show if Israel returns to its 1967 borders and eliminates apartheid within its borders, the Arab world can and has agreed to live with it.

Israeli hardliners, American neocons and neodems (There are actually more Israel-first representatives in the democratic party than in the republican so even if the democrats win in November, a root cause of our troubles will not disappear, in fact it may become more entrenched), coupled with the Israel first crowd in the US don't want this.  They're advocating complete ethnic cleansing, often euphemistically referred to as the 'Jordan Option' of all Christians and Muslims with a few exceptions to draw tourist dollars. Carter's book, the standing up of Intellectuals against the ADL last week, the divestment of investment in Israel by true Christian Churches, the paper on the Israel Lobby and voices like Tony Judt, Charlie Reese, George Galloway and others indicate the dam is beginning to crack. Americans are starting to figure this out.  In the end, this is the best thing for America, Israel and the entire world.  But Zionists will not go down without a fight so expect it to get real nasty...starting with attacks on former President Carter for having the temerity to point out the truth on the cover of his book.

In a jail cell at an immigration detention center in Arizona sits a man who is not charged with a crime, not suspected of a crime, not considered a danger to society.  But he has been in custody for five years. His name is Ali Partovi. And according to the Department of Homeland Security, he is the last to be held of about 1,200 Arab and Muslim men swept up by authorities in the United States after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Christians following Christ follow the cross, not the sword.  When a man mixes religion and war while claiming to be a Christian, this man is not following Christ. He is not following the cross. Most people would be happy to just have them out of our government and replaced with people loyalty to America rather than foreign nations). Getting rid of the dualists, those placing the interests of foreign nation's before those of the American people, that's step one. Then, any person in congress, the executive branch or judicial branch that deviates from their oath of office, supporting and defending the constitution of the US must be impeached and replaced.  Finally precautions are needed to prevent this from ever happening again.  All lobbies representing foreign nations or the interests of those nations must be registered as foreign agents.  Secondly, term limits for all congressional and senatorial candidates, thus preventing too much power from ending up in the hands of a few.  Third, With today's technology congress does not need to be in DC except for 6-8 weeks a year. Congress and Senate members should be required to spend 40 weeks a year within their state or constituency, working with and for the people they were elected to represent.  This decentralization coupled with term limits will limit the ability of any lobby, whether corporate, special interest or a foreign nation from easily monopolizing our government.  They'll be forced to have a minimum of 50 offices and no way to consolidate pressure one on one.  This is what needs to happen if Americans want to take back our government and force it to represent us, the people rather than foreign nations, corporations or special interests.  And we can do this.  As of yet, it is not too late.

LA TIMES, October 11, 2006 A War for Israel? Colin Powell thinks so. Actually, many people think so, (and the proof is conclusive that this is the case) including Gen Zinni, Gen Tommy Franks and anyone who does not rely on American media for their news.  Iraq was fought for three reasons only: Israel, Oil and Logistics.  Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran are Israel's enemies because they challenge Israeli expansion, Israel's consistent total disregard for non-Jewish human life and Israel's need for military supremacy.  These nations are not enemies of Israel because it pretends to be Jewish. These nations are not the enemies of the United States.  In fact Iran, Syria and Lebanon stood with us after 911!  Without Israel, the US has no beef with the Middle East; in fact it makes more sense to work with the Arab nations then against them. The oil companies lose money from conflict and consistently pressed for diplomatic, not military solutions in the Middle East.  The Israel Lobby, Israel loyalist in the US government and the Israeli government pressed for war with Iraq, (and now Iran) not the Oil companies, the American people or some other group.  Yet because of Israel, we work against all non-Jewish nation's in the Middle East causing oil prices to surge, the end of goodwill and deaths now and in the future by DU. Think about it.  Does it make sense for people to hate a nation because it is Jewish- OR -Does it make sense that Israel is hated because that nation continues to steal land from its Christian and Muslim neighbors, kill their children, prevent them from working, living, loving and continues through both law and action to treat all non-Jewish residents under its rule like non-humans and second class citizens?  The later is is the only thing that makes sense and is exactly why Israel is hated in the Middle East and throughout much of the world.  Not for what it is, but for what it DOES. (Just like the US is not hated for our Freedom.  We're hated for our hypocrisy and taking of other's freedom for profit) The key issues in the Middle East have nothing to do with faith.  That's the excuse and the shield used to deflect people from the truth.  The sooner Americans figure that out, the sooner we can get out of the Middle East, thus forcing Israel to set aside its ethnc-centered white supremacy ideas, laws and policies thereby forcing it to treat others as equal and make peace with its neighbors.  When that happens, there is no reason for terrorism against the US or Israel.  Problem solved.  Which is exactly what the ethnic white supremacist policies of Zionism and those enforcing these ideas are afraid of.

Exploiting African Genocide for Propaganda The battle in Darfur consists of several components.  Countries including the US and Israel which regularly sell weapons to warring factions, both sides directly and indirectly benefit from instability. During the late 1990's the now discredited and shown to be pure propaganda campaign to free 'slaves' in the Sudan was later discovered to be a Zionist group out of Britain, using a Christian name to promote and raise funds, providing cover for arms running and war profiteering.  The slavery was made up and staged, but not discovered until millions of dollars in funds had been raised, $40,000 by an elementary school near Denver alone. The real fight in North Africa is about water, just like Lebanon and the West Bank.  For several decades Israel has been trying to get rights to North African water resources to irrigate the Negev.  For the US, the Middle East may be about oil.  But for nation's in the Middle East, the real wealth is in the water rights.  He he controls the water, controls the land and everything in it.  If you can't take over the country, then countries do everything they can to make sure a puppet government bowing to their will is in place. This is an interesting analysis on Darfur you will not see discussed in the American media but it is often discussed and acknowledged around the world.

The Nation, October 16, 2006 Issue Revolt of the Generals In late September Batiste, along with two other retired senior officers, spoke out about these failures at a Washington Democratic policy hearing, with Batiste saying Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was "not a competent wartime leader" who made "dismal strategic decisions" that "resulted in the unnecessary deaths of American servicemen and women, our allies and the good people of Iraq." Rumsfeld, he said, "dismissed honest dissent" and "did not tell the American people the truth for fear of losing support for the war." CC: It is helpful for every American to remember, the only oath our military and elected officials take is to support, uphold and defend the constitution of the United States.  That is it. We do not swear loyalty oaths to parties or people.  When a member of our government seeks to abdicate his/her oath and becomes a danger to the Constitution, no person in this country owes allegiance to that person and each person must do what ever in their power to prevent the Constitution and its principles from being destroyed.  This is what true patriotism is. Of course on this evenings broadcast of 60 Minutes in an interview with Bob Woodward, Woodward stated the President told him it didn't matter if only his wife and his dog supported the war and his actions.  He'd still do what he wanted.  That should really scare you!
