What used to be a short lineup of traditional pre-wedding revelry -- an engagement party with close family and friends, a bridal shower hosted by a bridesmaid or co-worker and a carefully planned Bachelorette bash -- has escalated into an endless string of celebrations.
Though outwardly calm-looking, emotional turmoil rocks my life. Happy turmoil, but turmoil nonetheless. In a few hours I shall be officiating at my own daughter’s wedding. With my wife beside her, our daughter, in her beautiful white gown, will stand beneath the wedding canopy, the chupah, next to an excellent young man.
Dear Judy: This is the third time I’ve found myself in a long-term relationship with a wonderful guy who loves living with me, says he loves me, but won’t agree to marriage. He keeps saying he needs more time; it’ll soon be 2 years. How can I get him to make the leap?

The segment: April’s 15th’s issue of Time Magazine’s article entitled Career Vs Babies. Transcript of the conversation below.
The Transcript...I arrived at his home on Friday night and after dinner, I approached him. My objective was to find out if we were heading toward marriage or if we should break up. Here's how the conversation went.
Dear Andy and Judy: Frank has asked me to marry him. He started asking me out about a year ago, and we did lots of stuff with family and friends before dating. At first I only thought of him as a fun friend but not partner material, because ... and here's the weird part ... he's way younger than I am.
