She has a Master’s degree in Financial Planning from the
College for Financial Planning, is an Accredited Tax Advisor,
and is a Certified Senior Advisor. She’s listed in Marquis
Who’s Who in Finance & Industry, Who’s Who of American Women,
Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in the World. She is
frequently quoted in the media, and has been the featured
advisor on two “Money Makeover’s” for the Los Angeles Times
(5/18/99 and 4/17/01) and “Your Portfolio” for USA Today
(12/3/01).
Moderating the Career Development/Getting Started Discussion
Boards at Financial Planning Interactive (www.financial-planning.com/wwwboard5/)
led to writing her first book, “So You Want to Be a Financial
Planner: Your Guide to a New Career” ©September, 2001.
Her
current projects, in addition to maintaining her independent
practice, include preparing updates to her
eBook, and working with the Financial Planning Association
to develop an internship program for those entering the
profession.
In the
January 2002 issue of Financial Planning Magazine, readers
chose Nancy one of the four most influential people in the
financial planning profession.
