No, we did not sleep outside. Instead, I brought the stars inside. I went to a toy store and bought a package of glow-in-the-dark star stickers. There were several dozen if not a hundred or so stars in the package. When my wife was out running some errands, I stood on our bed and arranged the stars on our bedroom ceiling. It would work by putting them on a mobile too. That night I turned on all
the lights in the bedroom for an hour or so before we were going to sleep. The glow in the dark chemicals in the stars need light to energize. When we finally laid down to go to sleep, I turned off the light and my wife looked up to see the whole ceiling aglow. She was amazed at the spectacle. I told her that whenever she looks at the ceiling at night she will think of me. I came back from my trip and the stars are still up. I think I will keep them up there a little
while longer. It’s fun sleeping under the stars.
