Some of the techniques
are:
I'll help you understand what
is the purpose of each, how to perform them and what type of
oils can be used as well as what should not be. In general,
massage is split into tw0 key categories: Therapeutic and
Sexual.
Therapeutic Massage is performed
for medical reasons to alleviate pain, foster relaxation and
improve circulation. Some of the most common are:
TOP
Cranio-Sacral – is a technique for finding and
correcting cerebral and spinal imbalances or blockages that
may cause sensory or motor problems.
Shiatsu and Acupressure – systems of specific areas
where pressure is applied to treat special points along
acupuncture meridians.
Sports Massage – massage therapy focusing on muscle
systems relevant to a particular sport. This will be
beneficial for nearly all topics.
Reflexology – is a technique of releasing congestion or
tension on a body part and have it cause the same release in a
different area of the body. Causing a relaxing effect on the
whole of the body that would normally not be possible.
Sexual massage
is play for lovers. It is divided into two categories:
Sensual and Erotic. TOP
Sensual Massage —
focuses on delivering pleasure and relaxation but is not
intended to lead to intercourse or sexual activity. It
is nurturing in its purest form and follows a specific set of
movements and sequences. Does not engage any erogenous
zones.
Erotic Massage —
also known as foreplay, erotic massage has no specific
sequences and is intended to arouse. This is the only
type of massage that engages erogenous zones.
Couples are lucky; a massage therapist
is always in the home. Over the next year I'll cover the
skills and techniques you'll need to fully spoil yourself and
the one you love.
